Bio

Charles A. Matthews is the Architect for Grizzly Bear Architecture and Design. He is happily married to Stacey since 1997 and is also the father of nine children.

Beginning with his architectural education in 1986, he has over thirty-six years experience in Architecture and Design related fields with the following occupancy groups / types: Residential, Retail, Restaurant, Theater, Post-Production, Industrial, Educational, Utilities, Themed Entertainment Design, and Worship. Construction type experience includes traditional wood framing, poured in place concrete and tilt-up concrete construction. He has worked in both traditional design-bid-build as well as design-build project delivery methods.

In his professional training, he has worked for a number of architecture firms, as well as companies as diverse as Walt Disney Imagineering, Warner Bros., Universal Studios, Paramount Parks and more.
