I didn’t realize the moniker ‘starving artist’ would ever be me as I was growing up. And so, I wouldn’t take ‘no’ for an answer as I was growing professionally as well as seeking to provide for my family. I would seek and take most projects that I came across. There were a few that I wouldn’t work on because I was appalled at what I was being asked to do.

Although I enjoyed the ‘work’ of what I did- the drafting, drawing, design, modeling and rendering… and I am completely 100% thankful for all of those who gave me a chance to learn the ropes as I worked with them… the continual impediment during my entertainment design and in some architectural projects as well has been the ‘content’ of what I have worked on.

As the observer, you should understand that just because I worked on various projects for various individuals, it doesn’t mean that I agree with their views / perspectives that are shown in the various stories / works that are told or represented herein. Many times, the projects were taken on because I had bills to pay.

Repugnancy aside, it was at times galling to work in some places… most of the time it was not because of the people but because of the content. That being said, some of the people had personal lives that were nightmares… but most of the time, I wasn’t aware of their personal stories but as I grew in and around the industry, I became more aware of their lives. I prize virtue regardless of whether others do or not, and the awareness I developed made me sad / grieved me as I learned of it.
