Here is his obituary.

Here is a book he wrote.

Here is a notable article about him.

I worked for Ray for the Islands of Adventure Project in Orlando Florida. My responsibilities were that I completed and rendered perspective drawings for proposal purposes, designed and painted interior and exterior signage, drafted initial and final design development proposal and construction drawings for ships and boat docks.

One of the more funny stories Ray told me: He wanted to become an architect, as the skills were needed for a job that he wanted. He said that he went to the public library, checked out all of the books about architecture they had and locked himself in his house for about 3 weeks. He read all of the books. When he finished the last one, he walked out of his house and said, “I’m an architect!” (This occurrence was before there were rules regarding licensure in the State of California).
